Manchester Christmas Markets 2017: SAVE THE DATE!

The dates for the annual festive spectacular – the word famous Manchester Christmas Markets – can now reveal is opening dates for the 2017 season.
Now in its 18th year, the UK’s original, biggest and best Christmas Market will return on Friday, 10 November until Wednesday, 20 December (with the Albert Square market remaining open until 6pm, 21 December)
The Christmas extravaganza transforms Manchester with markets spanning across multiple sites across the city centre, including Albert Square – overseen, as always, by the six tonne giant Santa – King Street, St Ann’s Square, Exchange Square, and the return of the family area on Cathedral Gardens, complete with ice rink and fun fair.
More than 300 traders come to the city each Christmas season – purveyors of the finest foods, drinks, arts, crafts and amazing gift ideas.
Past years have seen more than 9m people visit Manchester city centre for the festive celebrations, which has dubbed the Christmas capital of the UK.
