Nine people have been charged after raids in Wigan and Merseyside

All nine have been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
They have been remanded in custody and are appearing at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court today, Friday 1 December 2017.
On Thursday 30 November 2017, officers made arrests, as part of Operation Land which is an ongoing investigation into drug supply.
The following have been charged:

Jason Atherton (13/12/74) of Beech Hill Avenue, Wigan.
Kayley Glover (20/08/90) of Ormskirk Road, Wigan.
David Edwards (29/03/66) of Kendrick Place, Wigan.
Kevin Barr (27/05/82) of Vine Street, Wigan.
Victoria Cornish (05/04/71) of Holme Court, Wigan.
Stephen Smith (16/02/66) of Chelsea Court, Liverpool.
Kim O’Brien (14/06/71) of Chelsea Court, Liverpool.
Jon Birchall (13/03/98) of Spruce Grove, Liverpool.
