UKPCCI Welcomed a Delegation from FCCI in Manchester

UKPCCI Welcomed a Delegation from FCCI in Manchester.

The Consul General of Pakistan Aamir Aftab Qureshi, Trade councillor Shoaib Zafar and staff along with UKPCCI VC President Amir Khawaja former president Ishtaq and business community of Greater Manchester welcomed 28 members of FCCI at a dinner reception.

Former President UKPCCI Mr Ishtaq during his welcome speech said “International Trade helps breakdown barriers between communities as traders work for mutual benefit and profit”

Consul General of Pakistan Aamir Aftab Qureshi during his speech said,” Pakistan is open for business and the delegates are representing Pakistan in the United Kingdom”. The delegates are here to tell you about the investments. He further added we are the next 11th economy around the world.

He also shared his views on Business and investment in Pakistan. He also asked the business community of Greater Manchetser to explore The Business Market of Pakistan.

Trade Councillor Shoaib Zafar highlighted the importance of Chamber of Commerce. He further added Exchange of investment is very important for the Northwest of United Kingdom. Import and export both are very important for this region.

During his speech he said ” Signing a MOU is the first step which will build a positive link between trade and Investment” he further added we need to keep a track of the development.

Former President FCCI Suhail Bin Rasheed highlighted the imports and exports of Faisalabad.

President FCCI Shabir Chawala in his speech said the purpose of this delegation is to build a link between Faisalabad and Manchetser Business community. He further added Faisalabad is known in the world because of textile. Pakistan have the best infrastructure for trade via Gawadar and China is also investing in Pakistan.

He further added Pakistan is a Growing country for Business and investment. We need your latest technology and skills to run the system and in investment Pakistan must be your 1st choice.

he also thanked UKPCCI for the business interaction between UK and Pakistan.

The event was closed by the Vice President UKPCCI Amir Khawaja who thanked Business community and the staff from the Consulate office.
